Yellow balls of muscovite with clear bertrandite, left center and lower. e.g. u2378 Article by Whittemore & Janules, on this locality in vol. 65, no. 4 of Rocks & Minerals states: "Tiny (1 mm) greenish and yellowish brown to orange spheres of radiating platy crystals associated with fluorite and siderite on the talus slope have been identified (by SEM - EDS and X-ray defraction) as an iron-rich variety of muscovite." |
